great design, easy installation, quite good picture, but the DVD is disturbingly noisy when watching a movie. It can be heard despite the sound of the movie.
Customer Review: Great picture for price
I've had this TV for almost 4 months and am very happy with it. The Picture is great for the price, with very vibrant colors and contrasts. The blacks are not as dark as you can find on more expensive TVs, but are as good as you can find in this price range. The DVD is noisy, which is really unfortunate. The Speakers are ok, but nothing great. I'd highly recommend this TV if you are looking for a TV that you will output sound to a stereo receiver. I actually found this at a price less expensive than the model without the built-in DVD player! Also, the high number of HDMI and other inputs is really fantastic. I do not regret this purchase at all!

Customer Review: I'd buy another one just like it.
After spending months looking at all kinds of TV's I got back to basics. What was I going to do with this TV and where was I going to do it. I put it in the living room hooked up my Roku (via hdmi) my cable, my PS3 and my computer. Blueray is stunning. Netflix HD looks awesome on it. World of Warcraft is totally killer on it and my cable needs to be upgraded to HD. I spent literally a hundred hours looking at nearly every size, make and model. The store managers at Costco, Best Buy and a couple of high end video/computer stores all thought I was going to take up residence. I picked it up brand new for $999 plus shipping. Last year I bought my brother an LG 42" plasma for a wedding present. His is killer too. For me, it's LG all the way.
Customer Review: Great TV at great price!
A friend of mine has been spending hours the past several weeks trying to find that perfect LCD TV. I think he must sank 40+ hours into the project by now. He did eventually settle on a 40-42" (can't remember which) Sony for about $1500. I walk into a close-out sale and walk out with a LG47LG50 in less than 15 minutes for $899. Now, I'll be the first to admit that not doing proper research into a high dollar purchase is not wise, but this TV is amazing! Lots of connections and a brilliant picture that is easy to customize. I've put my PC, a game console, and my over-the-air antenna up to this LG and all look great! My research-heavy friend came over to see it today and was thoroughly impressed with the set. Best thing about this TV is how intuitive the menu user interface is. Everything from the physical remote control to the antenna tuning interface just makes sense. I'm not saying my 85 year old grandma can run with it, but I believe most people will have absolutely NO problems navigating the myriad of options on this set. PROS: - Great, large picture - Good price - Intuitive menus and button layout - Attractive set (hidden speakers) - Lots of connectivity CONS: - Glossy black finish makes finger prints and dust easily visible - It's light. It's couple pounds lighter than other TVs this size. This could be a con as it feels "cheap," or it could be a pro in that it's light and easy to move. Not a deal breaker. BOTTOM LINE: Great set at great price. Would highly recommend.

Customer Review: Don't buy this item, get a Linksys wrt54g v2 repeater with DD-WRT
Amazon is a great service, i've had no problem with Amazon but i setup this item the day i got it then the next day i tryed setting it up on a different network and it never worked again. After calling Tech support on the phone 2 hours thay said it was defective. I sent it back to PC Universe and they refunded the actual cost but i ate the shipping from PC Universe to me and the shipping back to PC Universe by FedEx (not fair) so i could have almost bought a Linksys WRT54g repeater that works with the shipping expence. The Linksys repeater works without connecting a lan cable, just sit it anywhere & power it up. Hawking can kiss my grits, neva neva again will i buy their products. I reccomend the Linksys WRT54g V2 (wifi repeater)< search on ebay. thanks Amazon you are great

Customer Review: Winner in a game full of losers
This is the best of the 3 replacement chargers that I've purchased for my Compaq Presario C300. The two previous crapped out after only a month each. This one is pretty good, it stays plugged into the laptop very well and is secure. The only drawback is, that while it claims to be designed to work for this particular laptop, the charger itself gets dangerously hot... like you shouldn't touch it with your bare hands hot. That leads me to believe that it's working overtime to charge the battery, and it doesn't seem like it should have to work that hard to charge.
Customer Review: Not Worth It
When I received this charger I immediately plugged it in and it worked just fine. Then I noticed that the two pieces that you had to connect together between the charger and the the plug in part didn't stay together two well; they would always separate and I would find myself constantly having to get up and put them back together; it was very annoying. Then to top it all off, I left my computer charging and came back a few hours to find it still uncharged with a burnt smell in the room. The computer charger had overheated and is now sitting in the trash can where it should have been when I first received it. So yet again, not worth it. Oh and did I mention I only had the charger for 3 days???
